SOME BIRD PICTURES IN THE PROFILES ARE TAKEN BY DAVE FURSETH. BEFORE HIS DEATH HE POSTED THEM ON DAVE'S BIRDS. WE WERE ABLE TO SALVAGE A FEW BEFORE THE WEB SITE WHEN OUT OF SERVICE. WE ARE SURE DAVE WOULD LIKE YOU TO SEE THEM. HIS PICTURES ARE ALSO SEEN ON EBIRD.

a little hear-say: Of little red Finches to Great Blue Herons:
Here's what yours truly has to say about some of his favorite birds:
The Red-Tailed hawk is my best buddy when I'm out birding, because he's a top dog, big and strong
But the American Kestrel is my favorite because " well just look at them"
The Black Phoebe seems to be my guide, when I need a direction to go see birds, the little Phoebe points the way
I think the House Finch maybe akin to story book Gremlins
and the Great Blue Heron is awesome
